Even though I haven't been there "yet", I am sure this will be a new favorite fishing spot. While on a fishing/camping trip down in Mississippi last month, I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen Buss, a Wels Catfishing Guide from Spain. He is a great guy to talk with and a very impressive background in fishing. Anyway, he has agreed to be my guide for my upcoming trip. Last week, while guiding, they landed one wels catfish that went 177#. I will be sure and give you all a rundown when I get back.

Good luck to you Dale on your upcoming trip. Sounds like a trip of a lifetime. Be sure and slip a couple little ones in your luggage. I take them off your hands when you return. I hope you get to catch a couple of them monsters while you are there.

I arrived home at 1:AM this morning. I had a few nice catches over 100 lbs. I will get a better report up this evening with pictures and hopefully some video clips.
